apollo/klav [they/them] is a manhattan-based music video director, 2D animator, and visual artist who dabbles in a little bit of everything

at school of visual arts, they received a bfa in traditional animation after completing their 2024 thesis highlights selected film, STARSTRUCK â—† MEMORIES
​
upon graduating they’ve worked as a 2D Animator on shorts such as Submersed, music videos with The Female Gayze and as a rough animator at Tom LaBaff Studios
​
klav is especially interested in exploring the intersection of animation and music. nothing brings them more joy than timing out a board sequence or animation to the beat of a song, or designing a studio filled to the brim with sound equipment
​
in their free time, apollo likes to read manga, play early 2000s video games on their slowly deteriorating DS Lite, and dream of getting a dog while sipping iced coffee at 8pm
​
